Places
Where each piece is, from the house down to the drawer, with a page for every place.
Places
Places tell you where each piece is: home, study, safe, drawer 2. They can sit inside each other, as deep as you like.
- Open Settings › Places.
- Tap + (Add place) and give it a name.
- To put a place inside another one, open the outer place and choose ⋯ › New place inside.
To give a piece its place, open the piece's editor, then Place and tags › Place.
A place's page
Tap a place in Settings › Places, or scan its label, to open its page. It lists the Places inside and the Pieces that are there. Its ⋯ menu holds:
- Move pieces here …: choose pieces and move them in one step, for example after tidying a shelf.
- Print QR label: a label for the shelf, the box, or the cabinet. Scanning it opens this page. See QR labels.
- New place inside and Rename.
A place that still holds other places or pieces cannot be deleted; empty it first.
Places elsewhere
- The Overview shows the value of every place, By place.
- In a collection, Sort and filter can show only the pieces of one place.
Tags
Tags are a second way to group pieces across collections, for example "Vintage" or "Daily wear". Add them in a piece's editor under Place and tags › Tags, where New tag creates one. Sort and filter can show only the pieces with a tag.
