Pieces
Add pieces, find your way around their page, and connect, move, or delete them.

Add a piece
- Open a collection and tap + at the top right, or Add item in an empty collection.
- Start with a photo: Photos or Camera. See Photos and files.
- Type the name. A name is all you need to save; you can add everything else later.
- Fill in what you know. The sections Purchase, Value and condition, and Place and tags open with a tap.
- Tap the check mark at the top right to save.
When a new piece looks like one you already have, by its name or by a field such as the reference, Kuriosa says so: You may already own this. Choose Save anyway or Go back.
A piece's page
A piece's page shows its photos first. Below them are its status, its inventory number (such as K-0001), its values, and its fields in panels. Further down are its Journal, Files, Codes, and Connections.
- The heart at the top marks it as a favorite. Favorites are found in Search and in Sort and filter.
- The pencil opens the editor.
- Sensitive fields such as serial numbers show as dots until you tap them.
- Swipe left or right anywhere on the page: first through the piece's photos, then to the next or previous piece of the list you came from.

Status
A piece is In collection, Lent out, At service, Sold, Given away, or Lost. The status follows the piece's journal: an entry "Lent out" makes it lent out, "Returned" brings it back. Pieces that are lent out or at service show an outlined badge, so you see at a glance what is away.
Connections and sets
Under Connections on a piece's page:
- Link item connects two pieces. Linked with shows the link on both, for example a watch and its spare strap; Part of makes one piece a part of another.
- Add to set puts the piece into a set such as a kit or a daily rotation. New set starts one.
- The minus at the end of a row removes the link or takes the piece out of the set.
Move and delete
The ⋯ menu of a piece holds Move to collection, Activity, and Delete. When a piece moves to a collection with other fields, the values of fields the other collection does not have are kept, and they come back if you move it back.
After saving, deleting, or moving, a banner names the piece; its Undo takes back the whole step. Older steps can be undone in Activity.
The quick menu
Touch and hold a card, a tile, or a row for a quick menu: Edit, Add to favorites, Add entry, Move to collection, Export, and Delete.
